Encouraged by her elementary music teacher to play an instrument after getting a perfect score on a music test
Plays violin like a cello and attaches it to her foot while playing so it does not slip
Osteogenesis imperfecta is a disease in which bones break easily and may not grow correctly, also known as 'brittle bone disease'
She has been featured on NPR, travels the world performing music, and has become an advocate (supporter) of disability rights
